"Service to All Life with Grace Through All Philosophies"

Bishop W.C. & Donna Martin
Bennett Chapel Family Ministry
Missionary Baptist Church
~ Center TX ~

"Saving a Generation ~ Through Adoption & God's Love for Children"

The story began in 1997 when Bishop W.C. and Donna Martin and her sister Diann Sparks began a process which ultimately changed their lives forever.  They started adoption classes in order to adopt and foster children who were in great need of loving homes.  Diann adopted two boys, and the Martins adopted and fostered four children.  Very soon others at Bennett Chapel took up the challenge of ministry in adopting and fostering children who were in great need of loving homes.

At the present 25 families have adopted 126 children ranging in ages from 1-1/2 years old to 17 years old; and there are more classes being held for parents preparing to adopt children.  Not one of these beautiful children have had to be returned to the state; they are all in loving and caring homes.  Under the guidance and strong leadership of Bishop W.C. and Donna Martin, these families are providing love and life to these high-risk children and the youth in the community who may need to overcome many problems.  As a pastor in the community, Bishop Martin speaks boldly about the Christian responsibility to these children who have suffered so much in their young lives.

This story has been told many times with the help of Oprah Winfrey, 48 Hours, 700 Club, Renovate My Family, and now with the book Small Town Big Miracle sponsored by "Focus on the Family." It is a compelling story of faith and love and a community that is united in its purpose to serve and enrich the lives of children and their families in Shelby County, Texas.   In 2005, Renovate My Family (Fox Network) built a community center for the children and families.  Pineywood Outreach Center is part of the Bennett Chapel Family Ministry and is a center for the children and families of Possom Trot and all of Shelby County.

As Executive Directors of Pineywood Outreach Center, Bishop W.C. and Donna Martin have provided programming for the youth and their families of Shelby County including family and parenting support, food distribution and emergency services, mentoring, after school and summer programs, tutoring, Vacation Bible School, basketball camp and now additional adoption classes.

Sample of Interpreter Products
The Talk and Listen Kit®
Communication Sales Group inc.
~ Nationwide ~

"Communicate in any language"

Simultaneous Interpretation ~ Wireless Communication

In today's increasingly diverse world, bridging language and communication barriers is essential!

Ensure your message is getting through to your entire audience with the TALK AND LISTEN KIT®.  The TALK AND LISTEN KIT® bridges the language and communication barrier by allowing listeners to hear the same message at the same time in their native tongue, or via assistive listening, be it in school, in meetings, in church, in government and beyond.

How this is accomplished is unique from other modalities in this way.  As the main speaker speaks, your interpreter speaks into the
PrivacyMic® (a voice-silencing microphone that is connected to a digital, portable pocket-sized transmitter) so that the audience around them is not disturbed by his/her voice!  The interpreter can transmit to an unlimited number of listeners who are equipped with personal receivers and earhooks/headphones.
The system is wireless, digital, portable and employs a voice-silent transmission, called a PrivacyMic® microphone that ensures events can take place simultaneously with no distraction to the audience members, who may sit anywhere they like.

. For more information on how this system can help your community and/or your congregation overcome language barriers please visit www.talkandlistenkit.com or call 888-468-4552 and ask for Drew.

Architecture For Humanity
~ Worldwide ~

"Architecture for Humanity represents the finest of the new breed of architectural leadership, employing architectural skills and directing them for the larger good. Committed, unapologetically architectural in name and mission, Architecture for Humanity stands up for people in need."
– Robert Ivy, Editor in Chief, Architectural Record -

Architecture for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and brings design services to communities in need. We believe that where resources and expertise are scarce, innovative, sustainable and collaborative design can make a difference.

By tapping a network of professionals willing to lend their time and their talents to helping those who would not otherwise be able to afford their services, we support community development, help communities rebuild after disaster and provide pro bono design services to community partners around the world.

Through the power of professional design, we build safer, more sustainable and highly innovative structures--structures that become assets to their communities and ongoing symbols of the ability of people to come together to envision a better future.

Our vision is one of a world where designers innovate globally to build housing, schools, clinics and other essential infrastructure locally. We believe that this can be achieved not by replicating a design that was successful in one situation in another, but by encouraging locally-inspired designs and by enabling these solutions to be shared and freely adapted by all.

Funeral Consumers Alliance, inc.
~ Nationwide ~

Funeral Consumers Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting a consumer's right to choose a meaningful, dignified, affordable funeral.  Funeral Consumers Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The FCA Board of Directors
comes from all around the United States, and has adopted these Bylaws governing FCA's operations.   Our affiliates are nonsectarian, nonprofit, educational organizations.  They were first started in the late 1930s (known then as Memorial Societies) because of two influences: the depression and the increasing cost of funerals due to the use of embalming and more elaborate manufactured caskets.

There are now more than 150 nonprofit funeral-planning groups?in most states of the U.S. and in the provinces of Canada.  Your donations to the national organization are tax deductible* and support our work in counseling families at a time of need, monitoring state or federal legislation, and in assisting with consumer redress for funeral complaints. We serve as the umbrella group for 100 local affiliates and offer resources to those volunteers as well as encouraging new chapters.

Join nearly 400,000 others supporting our mission to protect funeral consumer rights!

Partnerships in Peace
~ Atlanta GA ~

"To show how peace is now possible within ourselves and in the world..." ~ Rev. Andrea Kay Smith

Andrea Kay Smith is an anchor and inspiration for peace across the planet.  She literally started creating the idea of individual and group peace in her own back yard with local art and garden projects.  Partnerships in Peace (PIP) has been handing out peace buttons since 1985, and in 1996 they established a Peace Center in Atlanta.  PIP also built the 30th section of the World Wall for Peace at the Atlanta Centennial Olympics.

PIP is instrumental in continuing the tradition of planting Peace Poles across the planet stating "May Peace Prevail On Earth" in all languages.  The tradition was begun by the World Peace Prayer Society founded by Masahisa Goi in Japan in 1955.  There are currently over 200,000 Peace Poles across the planet.
